The Dennis Kucinich media blackout: MATTHEW WARD

Portrait of Dennis Kucinich, democratic presidential candidate 2004

All who have come to know about Dennis Kucinich are 100% behind him, and the aim of the darkness is to prevent any more people from knowing about him.

The command given your media is, NO publicity about Kucinich whatsoever unless it is to point up his campaign as futile, even ludicrous. He is tied to no corporations’ or individuals’ money and therefore is not subject to their control, and his spiritual, moral and intellectual strength that has garnered grassroots support is taken seriously not only by the incumbent, but also by the other Democratic candidates, so there is a solid bipartisan desire to prevent any media coverage of him.

My response to "Progressives and the Ron Paul fallacies" by Glenn Greenwald

Glenn Greenwald's article can be read here.

A well written and balanced article, congratulations.

Like many people in 2008 I was excited to see Barack Obama become President. He was my second choice for President after Dennis Kucinich. Sadly, as you mention in your essay Obama has had little positive impact on the issues that concern me the most- a peaceful and sane foreign policy, scaling back and eventually ending the drug war, protecting civil liberties, beginning proceedings to end the reign of the corrupt Federal Bank, and addressing the federal debt crisis.
