To distinguish between light-filled souls and dark, look into the eyes.  The eyes of a lighted soul shine with aliveness; dark souls’ eyes are dull-dead, devoid of warmth or light.  A person with a lighted soul can hold a steady gaze when talking with you; a person with an “ordinary” dark soul or who is heavily influenced by darkness keeps glancing around, unable to meet the light in your eyes.

Dark entities know that the nape of the neck and lower back are especially vulnerable to their entry into a body’s energy system. Someone who grasps you in either or both places probably is NOT being playful or affectionate—the darkness in them is trying to infiltrate you.  This doesn't come from that person’s intellect or conscious awareness; it’s an automatic response to their influencing dark entity’s attempt to interrupt your energy flow so its streamer tentacles can enter.

Tone of voice, choice of words, topics of conversations 
Indications of dark entities working through a person are gossip; sarcastic, hurtful or boastful remarks; unjustified criticism or blame; monopolizing a conversation; in a large group, insensitivity to others’ conversations by speaking out loudly; obsession with talking about fearful subjects.  When you’re listening to someone and can’t tell whether the person is speaking from ego or soul, mentally ask your soul and pay attention to your immediate reaction—it is instinct, one way the soul communicates with the consciousness.  ALWAYS listen to your soul voice—it never lies.  Soul knows when lies come from other sources and alerts you via your instinct, intuitive thoughts and sensations—trust them.

Skeptics: gatekeepers for materialism

Self-proclaimed skeptics are gatekeepers for materialism, the view that physical matter is the only substance in existence and that humans and other living beings are solely made of such matter. Their job is to go out and try to destroy or discredit any viewpoint or practice that challenges this materialist mindset.  They are anti-God’s henchmen, so to speak.  If materialism was Nazism, then "skeptics" would be its' SS.

Skeptics don’t truly care about truth but rather about maintaining the materialist status quo which currently holds sway in much of the world and is favored by those who seek to destroy notions of the spiritual worth of all things.  After all, it’s easier to justify exploiting the Earth and its people when they are just seen as soulless pieces of matter.

A more holistic spiritual view, as held by the native people of the world, who are not removed from the natural world like western man, would make this exploitation seem so ugly and destructive that it would be hard to justify and carry on.  As a result “spirit” is discredited by the very forces that would lose from its general acceptance and so-called skeptics are their attack dogs, the views of which they widely promote.

Broadly speaking, it’s an attempt to destroy the spiritual perspective in human life and they’re doing their best to achieve it!

Efforts to destroy the spiritual perspective

There is a concerted effort by some to destroy the spiritual perspective. I think this is, in many cases, due to an anger at life generally, and God specifically, by these people. And if not God then those who seem to be optimists and enjoying life and those with spiritual beliefs may be seen as falling into this category. So the attempt to destroy the spiritual is an attempt to destroy the happiness of these people. It's a way of striking out at a world they feel has abandoned them and they are looking for revenge.  This may not be the case for all anti-spiritualists but it does seem that many of them find glee in attempting to destroy the life affirming beliefs of others.  There is a kind of killjoy element at play here. They claim to bringing the light of truth to matters at hand but by observing their emotional response to alternative views we can see whether they really wish to be a constructive influence or whether they desire is just to destroy ideas that anger them.

Are materialists doing the work of Satan?

When I mention Satan, I'm not talking about an individual entity, but rather a mindset.  That mindset is a hatred of God and all things beautiful and good.  Materialists, particularly those who spread the materialist mindset, are promoting the idea that there is no spiritual reality, no God, no ultimate good.  In this way they are assisting the forces of darkness that would like the human race to turn away from the light of God and become increasingly rebellious and decadent.  These forces would like to see humans become increasingly animalistic.  The reason for this is that these forces of darkness feed off the chaotic emotions that this degenerate state produces.  Of course, most materialists are unaware of this process as they really don't believe in the psychic or mental realm, just the realm of matter, therefore in that worldview there can be no dark spirits feeding off the emotions generated by the human race.

The idea that humans are just evolved apes is part of the effort to degrade the human race and steal the light from them.  The alternative view is that humans are spiritual beings made of light and pure in essence.  Of course, this purity is assaulted when one incarnates on earth due to the harsh conditions found here.  On earth, many humans have fallen to a very low spiritual level/state of consciousness due to their submergence into the base desires of the physical body and their disconnection and disbelief in the higher virtues of the human spiritual being.  Materialism encourages this process by saying we are just animals and there is nothing more to strive for than satisfying our bodily urges.  In this way humans lower themselves without thinking that it matters.  After all, there is no God, no ultimate good and no heaven.  So what is there to strive for?  In this way materialism supports the cause for darkness in promoting the degradation of the human spirit.

James Randi and anti-spiritualism

I applaud James Randi’s efforts to expose fraud where he finds it, but his crusade to destroy any credence given to spiritual or psychic phenomenon I find deeply misguided.

Randi is a lightning rod for the anti-spiritual movement which seeks to destroy belief in anything that is outside the domain of the materialist world view.  This level of fanaticism and bloody-mindedness is something to behold.  Not everyone’s experience of life fits neatly into the materialist paradigm and I think it’s fair for such people to construct a broader philosophy, the kind of one that seems to irk the anti-spiritualists so much.

The desire to destroy that which we don't agree with is a common human trait built from some kind of insecurity, but this desire is one we need to overcome.  The beliefs of our neighbor really are none of our business.  Our own concern is the domain of our own mind.  It is there we must exercise our intelligence and self-control.  We discover the truths that agree with our own experiences and then we express these while allowing others to express truth as they see it.

Conflict between alternative views of truth really is a sign of great emotional immaturity!  We are each born with free will to construct a world view that we find appropriate.  To say another person's world view is the wrong one is to misunderstand the gift of free will we have each been given!
