Living a preset pattern (such as a 9-5 job) tends to close us off from our intuition which is always urging us to try new things and explore new situations.
This is difficult to do if we must be at the office by 9 or else!
However, within the constraints of the patterned life the opportunity still exists to try new approaches and to bring a fresh perspective to each situation we encounter.
