Why some men die young

When men lose in love they sometimes die, through a kind of death wish or evensuicide. It's not uncommon. 

There are others, seemingly happy in their relationship, but still having some kind of deep existential angst. They may also die. 

But do young, happy people die? 

Occasionally, it would seem. 

But when relatively young people die it seems to be mostly self-willed by reckless or even deadly behaviour. 

Examples: reckless driving, high risk sports, heavy drug use, especially alcohol or hard drugs, lack of physical movement, persistent negative thinking, pessimism.

But some, who fail to find a happy partnership can still find happiness, through many channels, mostly involving helping others or by being deeply creative.
